CAPInside runs a smart finance portal which promises to filter out irrelevant products and information.
Details about CAPInside
Whether you stick to the businesses pages of a broadsheet or get your financial information from daily TV stock markets segments, you just can escape irrelevant news. Barely a quarter of Germans spend any real amount of time on their investments, and one resason for that could well be that they have trouble getting into the topic and that they have to learn about things which don’t interest them. CAPInside has decided to tackle this problem and develop a smart finance portal.
Users can register and set up a profile in a few easy steps: the more details they add, the better their experience later on, because the core of the idea for an algorithm learn about users’ investment preferences. On the platform, users can like articles and add funds to a ‘shopping list’, showing what they like. By helping to train the algorithm in this way, they are eventually only served with information or products they will find of interest. This gives investing an element of fun previously absent and makes it more accessible; as a useful additional function, funds in which users have invested can also be tracked using CAPInside. The user profile needed to participate is free to set up.
