Intelligent Recommendations is developing a recommendation engine for investments.
Details about Intelligent Recommendations
Looking at the yields of the average investor can be a sobering experience: while active investors have far higher chances of making a profit than classic savers, they could still do far better out of the stocks and funds they invest in; even in managed funds, considerable potential often goes untapped. And this potential is what Hamburg start-up Intelligent Recommendations wants to work with.
As the name implies, Intelligent Recommendations is an intelligent recommendation engine for financial investments; it uses the principles of big data analysis and collective intelligence to reach conclusions about the prospects of various investment options. In some ways, the collective approach is comparable to that of that TV quiz show favourite, “ask the audience”: when a sample is asked to estimate a number, the average of all the guesses is always closest to the actual answer. This is precisely the mechanism IR applies to investments. Along with its independence from banks, it is this innovative approach which gives Intelligence Recommendations what it refers to as a ‘worldwide monopoly’ on its market. Users can chose between a variety of memberships and products – and everyone can open a test account free of charge.
